Last verified: September 25, 2026 · Current HYBE CINE FEST program and ticket dates reviewed.
HYBE CINE FEST 2026 runs from October 24 to 31 across roughly 50 countries and more than 1,100 cinemas. But buying a ticket is not as simple as choosing an artist.
The program contains three different viewing formats: pre-recorded concert films, BTS Live Viewings tied to current ARIRANG tour dates, and the participatory HYBE CHEERING PARTY.
A Live Viewing may be real-time or delayed depending on the time zone. A Cheering Party is not a live concert broadcast. And a concert film is a completed film of an earlier performance.
Check the program name, LIVE/DELAYED status and your theater’s audience rules before booking.
| Format | What you are watching |
|---|---|
| Concert Film | A recorded and completed concert production shown in cinemas |
| Live Viewing | A current concert transmitted to cinemas in real time or delayed because of time-zone differences |
| HYBE CHEERING PARTY | A participatory big-screen program built around music videos and collective fan cheering |
Concert Film: a finished performance on a cinema screen
The 2026 film lineup includes concert productions from SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and ENHYPEN.
These are not concerts happening somewhere else at the same moment.
The performance has already been recorded and prepared as a screen presentation. Camera angles, sound and the final viewing version are fixed before the audience enters the cinema.
This allows cinemas to schedule the title at different times and on multiple dates much like another theatrical program.
K-pop concert-film screenings can encourage more fan participation than an ordinary narrative movie, but the allowed level of cheering, standing or light-stick use depends on the specific program and theater. Do not assume every concert-film ticket automatically comes with concert-floor rules.
Live Viewing: the concert is happening now
HYBE’s own notice defines a Live Viewing as a concert watched in a movie theater either in real time or as a delayed transmission because of time-zone differences.
BTS supplies the main 2026 examples.
- October 24: BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUENOS AIRES — Day 3
- October 30: BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN SÃO PAULO — Day 2
The members are performing at the concert venue in South America. The cinema audience watches that performance through the theater’s screen and sound system.
The word Live Viewing does not guarantee that every city sees the performance at exactly the same local moment. HYBE explicitly says some markets will receive a delayed viewing because of time-zone differences.
Check the exact city and date, then look for LIVE or DELAYED on the local listing. Two tickets labeled “BTS Live Viewing” can involve different local start times and transmission arrangements.
HYBE CHEERING PARTY is a different program
The HYBE CHEERING PARTY is designed around collective fan participation rather than a current tour broadcast.
HYBE describes fans singing along, cheering together and watching artists’ music videos on the big screen.
The participating 2026 artist list includes BTS, SEVENTEEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE, aoen, CORTIS and SANTOS BRAVOS.
If you want to see a BTS ARIRANG concert being transmitted from South America, do not buy a CHEERING PARTY ticket assuming it is the same event.
If you want a multi-artist participatory session built around music videos and group cheering, the Cheering Party may be exactly the program you want.

Some cinemas become temporary fan hubs
HYBE CINE FEST is also using selected cinemas as more than screening rooms.
The 2026 notice lists Special Location PLUS sites with combinations of official merchandise, photo zones, light-stick decorating and digital-code recap content.
Seoul’s location is Lotte Cinema World Tower. Other PLUS locations are planned in cities including Tokyo, Mexico City, Berlin, Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
A second tier of Special Locations is planned for cities such as Taipei, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila and São Paulo.
That creates a local fan event in places where the original concert may be thousands of kilometers away.
A fan can watch a screen program, meet other fans, use a photo zone and buy event merchandise without traveling to the actual tour city.
Light sticks and cheering depend on the screening
A cinema full of K-pop fans can look very different from a normal movie audience. That does not remove the theater’s own safety and operating rules.
Check locally whether:
- light sticks can be used throughout the screening,
- standing is allowed,
- singing and loud cheering are encouraged,
- aisles must remain clear,
- photography or video recording is prohibited.
A Cheering Party may be intentionally designed for vocal audience participation while another concert-film session at the same cinema has tighter rules.
HYBE CINE FEST is global, but cinemas operate under local safety policies and venue rules. Use the listing for the theater where you actually bought the ticket.
Ticket dates
HYBE announced separate ticket-opening schedules for global markets and Korea.
Global ticket sales: September 30, 2026. The official notice lists 6:00 a.m. PDT, 9:00 a.m. EDT, 2:00 p.m. BST and 8:00 p.m. ICT as reference times.
Korea ticket sales: October 15, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. KST.
Detailed theater information and screening schedules are being released through the official HYBE CINE FEST site as ticket sales open.
For a popular artist or a city with limited participating screens, checking the local schedule before the onsale time is more useful than waiting until the event week.
Choose the format before the artist
A search result may simply say that BTS, SEVENTEEN or TXT is part of HYBE CINE FEST. That does not tell you what kind of ticket is being sold.
Read the program line first.
Concert Film: you are watching a completed concert production.
Live Viewing: you are connected to a current concert, either live or delayed.
HYBE CHEERING PARTY: you are joining a participatory multi-artist cinema program built around music videos and fan cheering.
Then check your city, date, LIVE/DELAYED status and theater rules. Those details determine what will actually happen after you enter the cinema.
